Grant Burge Shadrach is an intense purple colour, with great depth. Aromas of cassis, coffee bean, tobacco leaf and dark mint chocolate on the nose. On the palate flavours of blackcurrant, plum and cinnamon feature, with hints of red fruits and oak usage add complexity to the palate. The 2018 Shadrach is a lovely hybrid of cool climate Eden Valley Cabernet and its’ delicate fragrances combined with a meaty portion of valley floor Cabernet that helps support structure and weight.
